Plastivision ... from strength to strength!
Trade shows are always an important component in the growth of any industry. They not only connect the entire supply chain under a single roof, but also provide a sense of buoyancy to the spirits within the industry. This is especially true when they are executed on a scale commensurate with the size of the industry and reflective of its true growth potential. Furthermore the showcase of technology and innovation right across the supply chain makes for a fertile breeding ground for the entire industry to upgrade itself and discover new avenues of value addition, growth and progress.
This has also been exemplified in our Plastics Industry, with the Plastindia Exhibition being the apex event of its kind not only in India, but the world over. However, not far behind is the Plastivision event which has slowly but surely scaled itself up into a world-class event, thus giving our industry not one but two world-class events in our backyard. Given the vast geographical expanse of our country, and more importantly the near-equitable distribution of the plastics industry across the country, there is ample merit in the case for two such large events to co-exist, and do our industry proud.
The recently concluded Plastivision 2017 event at Mumbai once again endorsed and typified this. The sheer scale of the event, its perfect execution, the presence of salient exhibitors and a large horde of visitors all made for a wonderful event. On our part, we at Popular Plastics and Packaging also humbly showcased our continued commitment to the Industry. As an added dimension, through our sister concern, CNT, we also set up the officially curated neutral 3D Printing Pavilion on behalf of the organisers and also released a white paper on the applications of 3D Printing in the Plastics field. The response to those was overwhelming.
We continue to work ahead in partnership with the industry, on both the larger platform of the plastics and polymer industry, as also the specialised 3D Printing space, where we are now recognised as the foremost neutral knowledge platform in India.
